I have created a set of colourful Christmas cards for those who want something different to the traditional red, white & green. These cards are adorned with die cut shapes, flowers, laces & trims, SA pearls & lots of glimmer paste.  Please join me on Friday 5^th October at 9.30-12.00 o’clock.

Deck the halls with cards, yes that is right, this gorgeous set of cards each has a cleverly disguised ornament featured in the design. We use mixed media techniques and tips to make beautiful ornaments and mount them on a 14 x 14 cards. Featuring Highland Christmas paper range, with additional Artsy Treasures images by Sue Smyth, to complete this set of traditional vintage cards. A must for those who love Christmas.

Learn a great use again technique, using common Vaseline and layers of paint to replicate shabby palings. We create a journal with thick sturdy palings and decorate with metallic finds, beads and chipboard, we practice clustering techniques to assemble and finish with gorgeous faux mercury beads and a sweet opalized butterfly.

Join me as we try to tap into that space to create an art journal page that is calm and meditative. Robyn will share some simple techniques to get your creative juices flowing and you will learn a few creative techniques along the way.

Want to get lots of photos on a layout?  Want an interesting layout that has interactive elements that can be lifted, pulled or opened to reveal hidden areas? In this month’s class, we will create a double layout with space for 18 photos.  It has plenty of “openable” areas to showcase all your favourite photos.  This month I have used papers from the 7^TH Heaven range from Mintay Papers. (word strips used in layout are not included in kit however are available for purchase separately). Take away kits with full emailed instructions are available.

Create to your "Hearts Content" is the theme of this mixed media project. Choose to work on canvas or in your art journal. The layering techniques will work beautifully on either surface!  We will be using a heart shape as a mask, then creating our project around it, many layers of various stencils involved! ( You are welcome to bring your favourites along to class) We will also stamp our own images to make collage paper to add to our heart, adding texture along the way and finally embellishing with die cuts of various butterflies/ leaves/ scrolls etc. If you have your own dies, cut some shapes in various pastel shades of lightweight cardstock to bring along to class to save time. If you are new to mixed media we will have stamps and dies for you to play with in class!

Shake up your art journaling world with something a little different. This month we will be playing with some different types of images to create our own textured pages and characters in our journals. Robyn’s page features a quirky Paper Artsy character but you will be welcome to create something different using your own stamps or magazine cutouts. Robyn will also teach you how to add image transfers to your journal pages for unique backgrounds.
The session will start with a lesson on creating your own ephemera – you will learn some great tips for making what you have ‘yours’ instead of something you have cut from a piece of patterned paper. Then we will slip into some relaxing time layering and building your page – it’s the best part! Class will finish with some techniques to bring out the texture on your page.

Come & create a double page & 2 single layouts with Julie. Use the lovely Happy Days range by Celebrate with colours of orange, aqua, green & white. Julie has made some tags, done some border strips, added some circles & brackets, & made some cute little birds too. You will also get the most out of your papers in this class. This class is perfect for beginners and those wanting clean simple designs.
