Dec 14: Antique
Hi it's Kerry here sharing two layouts using the new My Minds Eye range. I love the vintage feel and it so nice to have something that works well when scrapbooking the men in our lives. I have randomly punched around the designer paper and outlined this in pen. l have used the embellishment die cut pack and brads pack to create the banner and layers. The lettering is customised by using Glimmer Mist and black ink to colour then I went over them with silver Stickles. I stapled and anchored T!m Holtz film strip and added a camera charm.
I LUUUUVVV Debra's walnut dyed tags and use them whenever I can as you can see on both layouts! I have snipped another piece of film strip for this page and stapled down. I customised my arrow by layering it on an off cut of Debra's walnut tag to make it the size I wanted. I sewed my letters to the page using twine and then used other twine on the tag and thread trailing to the stars.
I love pockets so had to include one from the collection to stash away my notes (will put them in later) and goodies. I placed a decorative brad from the collection on the tag and tied with twine. I also placed a feather inside and made moustache stick! Using a skewer I cut off the pointy end, glued on a die cut and sewed on a moustache charm to finish!
