Jan 9: Mixed Media Art Journaling
MIXED MEDIA ART JOURNALING – CUPCAKE CREATIONS

Everybody loves cupcakes, especially when they come
packed with flavour! Sadly, our cupcakes won’t be edible but they will be a
treat for the eyes. We will be creating a sweet page full of the texture of
ripped papers, stencilling and a surprise or two.
This class will focus on creating texture through collage
and I’ll share some alternative designs for those who wish to play with the
technique further.
If you already art journal – bring along your usual kit,
if not check the requirements list for a guide on what to bring. You will need
an approx. A4 sized journal to begin with – please check in store for details.
We would love to know where you are at with mixed media so let Deb know when
you book in – absolute beginners are very welcome but the more experienced will
find something to challenge them in each class.

Want to get lots of photos on a layout? Want an interesting layout that has
interactive elements that can be lifted, pulled or opened to reveal hidden
areas? In this month’s class, we will create a double layout with space for 14
photos. It has plenty of “openable”
areas to showcase all your favourite photos. This month I have the gorgeous Beautiful You range from Celebr8. It is
blues, pinks and mauves with succulents. Take away kits with full emailed
instructions are available.

The papers in this collection are blue, teal, sand and orange – perfect for
your summer photos.

call a "Vintage Romance" theme, my favourite style! Paper collage, Spray Inks,

project, finishing with acrylic painted roses. Lots of different mediums used.
Any skill level from beginners in Mixed Media to advanced
art makers and journalers!
