special cards using some stunning patterned papers from Prima. These feminine

Want to get lots of photos on a layout? 
Want an interesting layout that has interactive elements that can be lifted,
pulled or opened to reveal hidden areas? In this month’s class, we will create
a double layout with space for 35 photos.  It has plenty of “openable”
areas to showcase all your favourite photos.  This month I have used
papers from the Voyages Fantastique range from Stamperia. Take away kits with full emailed
instructions are available.

Join Robyn to have some fun with your stencils
and Gel Press. This month we will use the Gel Press to create an unstructured
background to showcase large focal image stencils such as the beautiful
botanical stencils from Darkroom Door. Robyn will share some quick tips on
creating useful backgrounds for your journals as well as showing you how to
create a quick acrylic skin for use as a unique embellishment. During the
class, you will learn some interesting ways to add marks and character to your
pages through doodling, sgraffito and lettering. If you already art journal –
bring along your usual kit, if not check the requirements list for a guide on
what to bring. You will need an approx. A4 sized journal to begin with – please
check in store for details. We would love to know where you are at with mixed
media so let Deb know when you book in – absolute beginners are very welcome
but the more experienced will find something to challenge them in each class.

PAPER ARTSY PAINTED
CARDS

Come along and create these four fancy folded
and painted cards in this class using the Paper Artsy Fresco Finish Chalk
Acrylic Paints and one of Tracey Scotts Eclectically Stamp sets also by Paper
Artsy. In this 2 hour class you will learn how to use the paints, blending
colours to create awesome background effects and also use the paints themselves
to stamp images. Put all this together on some uniquely folded cards with some
pearl strips and you have completed your 4 cards.

Finnabair Impasto paints, Stamperia Aqua Colour spray, Stamperia gel & Patina
