Accommodation is simple but adequate, you will need to bring your own bed linen and towel (Linen packs are available for hire from the centre). All meals, morning & afternoon teas & supper are provided.
Check in time is 5pm Friday. Check out is 2pm Sunday. On Sunday you will need to vacate the bedroom units by 10am, but don’t need to vacate the craft room until 2pm.

We welcome international designer for PaperArtsy, Jo Firth-Young to our store for a series of creative workshops in July. There will be one daytime full day class on each day. Stay for just one or book in for all three.

Most of the materials for the classes will be provided however there will be a small requirements list of items to bring which will be advised closer to event date.

In all the classes, attendees can choose their own colour schemes from the paint supply range on offer at the class so you are not restricted to the colours in the class samples.

Set of three 5” x 7” canvas boards which are joined together with washi tape and are designed to be hung either horizontally or vertically. The Canvas is a floral theme and includes lot of products and techniques including stamping, painting, stenciling.

Interactive Journal page that includes stamping, stenciling, embossing that is perfect in a large Dylusions Journal.

Make a junk journal from an old book cover and scrap envelopes. Decorate and add book rings and make tags using Paperartsy paints and various techniques. e.g how you can get different outcomes using distress glaze in thin/medium/thick formats and also how the different paints e.g. translucent, opaque etc work differently.

You will build a resource book of PaperArtsy paint and product techniques including the use of paints, stencils, grunge paste, glazes. This class gives a good over view of paints for those that haven’t used them for too long.

Want to get lots of photos on a layout?  Want an interesting layout that has interactive elements that can be lifted, pulled or opened to reveal hidden areas? In this month’s class, we will create a double layout with space for 29 photos.  It has plenty of “openable” areas to showcase all your favourite photos.  This month I have used papers from the Simple Vintage Botanicals range from Simple Stories. Take away kits with full emailed instructions are available.

Mixed Media workshop for your art journal or canvas. Great for using up some scraps of paper! We will be collaging our paper pieces while integrating dripping, stenciling, stamped impressions and texture all into the one project . Just a hint of Moroccan flavour! Your paper color and pattern choices will determine your overall finished work, so be adventurous as you like!

It is all about the beautiful floral designs featured in these 5 very pretty cards. We will be fussy cutting, layering and glittering to create cards in various shapes and sizes.  Cards are suitable for any occasion. Take away kits are available.

In this months class we will create masculin themed cards for all those men in our lives. We will be using the new masculine "Studio Light" A 5 paper pad along with some mixed media techniques to create 6 all male cards. So come along and stamp, tear, ink, blend, die cut, watercolour and grunge with me to create the 6 cards.

This month have some creative fun using some of the new Finnabair Moulds to design an altered brush canvas. With some cogs ‘n’ gears, paints, sprays and stencilling you will definitely “turn-up” the creativity!!!... During the class I will also be demonstrating how to use the moulds using various materials. All the moulds for the class project will be pre-made by me.

In this class Debra will teach you how to turn ordinary manila folders into a lapbook that has many uses such as a memory book for a special occasion, a birthday, baby shower or wedding. Make it before to allow your guests to record their wishes and memories and add the photos afterwards. There is also room to store any cards or other memorabilia from the occasion in it.  Use it to record memories of a holiday and include ticket stubs, maps and other ephemera. It can also be used as a junk journal.

Come along to my Scrapbooking Craft-er-noon where you will create this beautiful double page layout using the gorgeous Mintay range ‘Springtime’. Incorporating lots of layering and fussy cutting and showcasing stunning flowers and pearls with a little added glitz.
