It is time to change up my art journaling classes and I want to encourage you into working on smaller pages for a bit of new challenge. Bella Paperie has hosted Dyan Reaveley (Dylusions) & Marlene Meijer (Art by Marlene) and both sets of classes have worked in smaller journals, so it is time to give them some more love. Working small encourages play and creativity – no need to spend hours filling up a page! Each class will feature two pages with an underlying theme of imagery, product or techniques. For this class we will focus on techniques for giving your pages a touch of texture as well as adding a twist to some Distress Ink techniques. As always, I will have items to share but please bring what you have from the supplies list – you will especially need the items listed under basics for each class.

This month we will make something a little special in the way of mini albums.... I’ve designed a handbag album using the fabulous collection Grand Hotel from Stamperia. There are plenty of pockets, tags and pull outs for all your photos and journaling. Just love the way it comes altogether....the little metal embellishments really set it off.... As this is a time lengthy project I’ve split this class into 2 dates. This is a repeat of the same class that was run in October 2019. Extra time has been added to the class length to allow the project to be completed – this is reflected in the increased cost of class.

Want to get lots of photos on a layout?  Want an interesting layout that has interactive elements that can be lifted, pulled or opened to reveal hidden areas? In this month’s class, we will create a double layout with space for 26 photos.  It has plenty of “openable” areas to showcase all your favourite photos.  This month I have used papers from the Our Happy Place range from Celebr8. Take away kits with full emailed instructions are available.

My "All Heart" card class creates 5 cards made with lots of love ! We use stamps by Marlene, sizing dies and couture creations embossing folder. In class I will teach you how to make a Triple Easel Heart Car and a 3 Step Shutter fold card and also 3 fancy front folded cards. Add some subtle pastel colours from the Distress ink range and you will have a set of cards that can be used for any number of special occasion throughout the year - Birthdays, valentines, engagement, anniversary or just because!

This card is great to make for a friend who you would love to share a ‘cuppa’ with. It includes the skills of embossing, colouring with pencil and a small amount of simple grid work. It is suitable for all skill levels.
