In this class we use a manila folder to create a small journal that would be great to carry in a handbag as a brag book. I have used mine as a small family tree journal that I can take with me to share photos and information with family members. You may like to use yours for a Grandma’s brag book or similar. It is also a good one for a male as the papers are a new range from Dress My Craft – My Gentleman. These papers are thick and lush, perfect to use as a journal that will withstand being in a handbag.  They are also single side and the reverse side is wonderful to write on.

As we leap into 2020 I’d like to share a few new techniques with you all. This month we will continue to work in a smaller journal and create two pages. February’s class will focus on some different ways to layer Dylusions spray inks. As always, I will have items to share but please bring what you have from the supplies list – you will especially need the items listed under basics for each class. Don’t forget to let us know if you are a beginner when you book – you are absolutely welcome, but it means I set aside time at the beginning to support you in product choices & information.

This class you will create an album that can house your favourite recipes and photos using the mini album kit and ‘Bon Appetit’ collection from Celebr8. You will have so much fun creating this album that comes with its own apron box to keep it in.

In this Flower Frenzy Card Class we are using the NEW Couture Creations Alcohol inks. These inks are so vibrant and Are available in Matt colours as well as Pearl colours, which have a very lustrous sheen to them. This class will teach you 4 different medium methods extending the use of your Alcohol Inks beyond just Yupo paper. Included in this class is the full us of all the coloured Alcohol inks shown and other mediums are supplied as well. However you will need to bring your own blending solution to class. If you have your own great just bring it to class or maybe buy 1 and share between friends.

After a very successful 2019 Celebr8 tour around South Africa teaching over 400 delegates, we are lucky to have Erin Bruton, owner of Celebr8, from South Africa and Jenny Heaslip for a day of fun classes. Jenny will be teaching an interactive layout and Erin will be creating a double layout focusing on playing with Celebr8 chipboards and stencils with you. Cost will be $95 for the day which includes the two classes and morning tea and lunch.

The project for February is a bookmark, complete with tassel and plastic sleeve to protect your work.
Skills include: colouring and blending with pencil, free hand embossing, embossing on a grid, perforating through a grid and cutting to a cross.

Play with Black texture, antiquing washes, stamping and stenciling, pull the project together with a message and some embellishment. Great project for all skill level, bring your canvas or journal. choose your own colour preference .

We all love Alice in Wonderland, reminding us of childhood stories, games and curious characters. So we create this gorgeous small journal with a wonderful resin white rabbit as the feature, while using the latest of mixed media products, we add texture and colour. So don’t be late like the white rabbit, make a date and create. This could also be done on a tag or panel.

Who does not love storage? We all do, so combine our love of mixed media with storage and make our own washi tape or alcohol ink box. Featuring a wonderfully languid Mermaid storage box, you can store inks, washi tape, liquid pearls, even the remote if you wish in this elegant box. We create the box and use alcohol inks in a surprising way, to make our whishy washy base. Then we colour our mermaid with gesso and waxes, add in a few trinkets to personalize, I am sure you will just love this addition to your craft room or home decor, great as a gift too.
