Want to get lots of photos on a layout? 
Want an interesting layout that has interactive elements that can be lifted,
pulled or opened to reveal hidden areas? In this month’s class, we will create
a double layout with space for 31 photos.  It has plenty of “openable”
areas to showcase all your favourite photos.  This month I have used
papers from the Serenity range from Lemoncraft. Take away kits with full
emailed instructions are available.

It is so good to be back with you teaching art
journal classes again! In order to keep everyone safe I will not be sharing
supplies and tools as I have in the past. Instead, I will give you details of
supplies used to create the project within the Class Requirements. Sharing of
supplies during class is also discouraged. As usual, you are welcome to
substitute images, colours etc from your stash as you like and if you don’t
have the exact listed supply, just bring along the closest you have. Of course,
Bella Paperie is fully stocked with all your needs so come a little early if
you need to shop before class.


We have also moved these classes to Saturday to enable easy use of the
classroom next door. Please remember this when booking in.


Dream Big combines colour and texture with pretty imagery and words to create a
gorgeous page that is infinitely touchable. This month I will share some of my
layering techniques that you will be sure to use many times on future pages as
well as a simple way of combining layers for collage style pages. This class is
perfect for all those pretty bits of papers you have been saving for ‘special’!


We will continue to work in the smaller journal size, the Art by Marlene
journals with removable pages are perfect. This class will also work in the A5
Dylusions journals or across a single page in a larger journal.


Don’t forget to let us know if you are a beginner when you book – you are
absolutely welcome, but it means I set aside time at the beginning to support
you in product choices & information.

How elegant is the Princess collection from
Stamperia? One of my favourite things to do is creating a mini album with a
slight junk journal feel to it. So this way you can add photos or use it as a
journal, lots of tuck spots and pockets. Filled with Victoria women, bustiers,
lace and pearls, bound in a hard cover with trim wrapped around an antique
style handle.

Receiving a handmade card is a special gift to
be enjoyed. Create four larger cards which are sure to delight the recipient.

instructions to make a single page scrapbooking layout and a guide to make

ALCOHOL INK PAGE

Have you played with alcohol inks? Great for
cards and smaller work, well we go big and create a 12 x 12 layout with all of
the colours and colour blending of alcohol inks, learn which colours to use,
and how to use them, and add a bit of gold sparkle. Lots of tips and tricks to
get the best results and troubleshoot the bad. With guidance you will be able
to choose your own colour theme (bring your own inks) so plenty of scope to
personalize your work. you will get a bonus colour wheel, sheet of butterflies
and 1 bottle of ink, and extra yupo paper per kit.

STEAMPUNK SUITCASE

Do you love steampunk and storage? Well, we
combine both to create this wonderfully textured suitcase (beauty case) Learn
how to alter the surface securely and then add layer upon layer of texture and
detail, using chipboard, resin and metal. Then we will add shine and colour
with inks, pastes and waxes, to give a rusted lustre. This is truly a glorious
project, one to keep or treasure with a very practical purpose, a must for
mixed media fans.

A Useful Gift: Calendar and sticky note
combination. A grid work design in parchment craft is used for the background
behind the calendar. The rectangular design uses a bold straight grid with

CAPRI LAPBOOK

In this class Debra will
teach you how to turn ordinary manila folders into a lapbook that has many uses
such as a memory book for a special occasion, a birthday, baby shower or
wedding. Make it before to allow your guests to record their wishes and memories
and add the photos afterwards. Use it to record memories of a holiday and
include ticket stubs, maps and other ephemera. It can also be used as a junk
journal.
