Want to get lots of photos on a layout?  Want an interesting layout that has interactive elements that can be lifted, pulled or opened to reveal hidden areas? In this month’s class, we will create a double layout with space for 30 photos.  It has plenty of “openable” areas to showcase all your favourite photos.  This month I have used papers from the Day by Day range from Mintay. Take away kits with full emailed instructions are available.

We will be stamping into gel medium, creating branches with a texture and a sandwhich bag, using metallic waxes and antiquing for background details Bring along your branch and leaf stencils to play with and your bird print .Some paints will be supplied but you will need to supply your own gold acrylic paint, any brand. I have had many requests to reteach a Gothic book from years ago, so I decided to revamp it, with a new design using some of the same elements. We will create our spooky book with a creepy skeleton and all his decorations, wings and crown, if you are not into skeletons, we do have a freaky fairy version (limited) There is plenty of room to add bits n pieces and personalize to your taste. We play with texture, metallic paints, waxes and inks. This is an altered book, so does not open to blank pages, all books are provided

Turn and ordinary wooden box into an ancient relic keepsake, we play with resins, metallic paints and waxes and some unusual additions to decorate the top of our box with a wonderful medusa face. If you wish there are other options available (lion, wolf) and plenty of room to personalize to your taste. Keep this for yourself or with Christmas coming make something special for friends and family. Note.. metal feet not included but are available to buy.

This month’s cards are made using a selection of TIM Holtz Distress Inks blending the colours together to create our Rainbow coloured cards. In class we use a selection of AALL & Create acrylic stamps to create 6 slimline cards, the latest card making craze. The colourful backgrounds for our cards are created with an ink to paper technique that produces these very colourful and unique, individual backgrounds which we then use for our cards.

In this class we will be creating beautiful cards in a compendium folder featuring snow-covered trees, fairies and a distant palace all depicted in the  Winter Tales collection by Stamperia. A gingerbread house is synonymous with Christmas celebrations. This card uses embossing for the “snow”, template embossing for the greeting and lots of colouring. The gingerbread man is made separately, cut around with snips and attached later. It is suitable for beginners.
