This is a techniques based class where we will create a winter Aspen forest  with stencilled deer  hiding amongst the trees. We will also be making a gift card  from a jumbo sized playing card. Join me this month in creating a little bit of Christmas decoration for the home, office or your craft room. This class is a 5 piece banner using the gorgeous images from ScrapBoys - Winter Time collection. A timeless collection of soft pastels teamed with so many beautiful embellishments of roses, pine cones, lace pearls to name a few and finished off with snow and glitter to give that shabby chic look.

Christmas is for the birds ...Nothing says Christmas more than sparkles and snow, we make this gorgeous little bird house using odd and ingenious items, some found some purchased, this is guaranteed to be a fun class. We will play with white gesso and lots of sweet christmasy items, learn how to make the shingle roof and add the faux birch surface, then we decorate with glitter and pinecones to make this sweet little piece of Christmas art to bring out year after year.

We all know what it’s like to get those unexpected visitors for Christmas or you need a little gift. You can’t go wrong with a gift of chocolates.  In this class you will create three ways to display your sweets, using the new ScrapBoys collection Christmas Wishes, paired with green, red and a hint of gold to bring in the vintage vibe. Poinsettias, pinecones, gold rose, lots of snow and glitter gives way to the feel of a homely traditional Christmas.

Want to get lots of photos on a layout?  Want an interesting layout that has interactive elements that can be lifted, pulled or opened to reveal hidden areas? In this month’s class, we will create a double layout with space for 22 photos.  It has plenty of “openable” areas to showcase all your favourite photos.  This month I have used papers from the Merry & Bright range from Mintay.
